Cyprus Workshop Short Documentaries

In early July, AFS sent two envoys, filmmaker Alex Rotaru and documentary scholar Michael Renov, to Nicosia, Cyprus to conduct a week-long documentary workshop. With the support and coordination of the International Children’s Film Festival of Cyprus (ICFFCY), the Cyprus Community Media Centre (CCMC), Sugarfoot Films, Nicosia 2017 and the U.S. Embassy of Nicosia, young and emerging filmmakers had the opportunity to create their own short documentaries.
